Chief Seattle Days is an annual event that the Suquamish Tribe sponsors to celebrate and honor Chief Seattle for all of his historical accomplishments.  As the celebration grows, Suquamish tribal members and community members lead the events you see on the schedule.  Some events are ones that the Suquamish community thought would be fun and some are focused on the revitalization of Coast Salish traditions and culture.

 The Olympia Harbor Days Festival, a free event offered every Labor Day Weekend, is an award winning free and family friendly event that showcases many of the vintage tugboats of the Puget Sound with a walk aboard show at the docks and races in the bay.  Visitors to the event may also find tall ships, steamships, other historic vessels of twentieth century commerce, tribal canoes, and current recreational small watercraft.  Harbor crises and sailings on Budd Bay are also offered. 

 Fiestas Patrias commemorates the independence of Latin American countries, many of which celebrate their national Independence Day in September. This festival is a celebration of Latinos: our culture, our art, our music, our food, our dances and many other traditions that have accumulated over the centuries.
