Doc Bee Well offers a wide range of medical services for acute and chronic management of disease.  This includes hypertension, diabetes, kidney and heart disease.  All of our members benefit from preventive medical care, mental health management and life coaching.

Our providers are able to treat patients from 0 to 100 years of age; however, if you are eligible for Medicare we have a legal restriction that prevents us from being your primary care provider.  If this policy changes, we will be sure to update the site. 

No, you can keep your primary care provider and we are happy keep them updated on your health needs and goals.  

At this time Doc Bee Well cannot accept patients who have Medicare or are eligible for Medicare.  Physicians have to opt-out of Medicare in order to charge patients directly for services they may be able to obtain using their insurance.  This legal restriction means that we are unable to take patients in this situation, and that if you become eligible for Medicare while a patient at Doc Bee Well we will be unable to continue to provide our services.  

Doc Bee Well offers an alternative to a traditional medical practice.  Many of our patients have high deductible health plans that can be expensive to use for routine medical care.  Some of our patients do not have insurance through their work or are unable to obtain medical insurance from the government.  Our membership model allows us to focus on your health and not on insurance reimbursement.  Cost transparency gives our patients confidence that they will not be surprised by a huge office bill.  

Doc Bee Well has availability seven days a week.  Hours are subject to change but are updated on the website when you book an appointment.  

No, we do not accept insurance, including Medicare.  You are strongly encouraged to maintain at least emergency (catastrophic) insurance in case you need to be admitted to the hospital or have major surgery.   

We are happy to travel within 30 minutes of our home office in  Tacoma (1201 Pacific Ave).  This means we can travel to Federal Way, Fife, Lakewood, University Place, Fircrest, Puyallup, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Spanaway, Auburn, Dash Point, Des Moines, SeaTac, Tukwila, Renton and Kent.  If you are out of our service area feel free to contact Doc Bee Well to see if an exception can be made.  

Doc Bee Well has access to discount lab tests through Quest Diagnostics.  Members can benefit from routine labs such as annual Complete Metabolic Screening, Lipid Screening, Urine microalbumin screening (for those with diabetes).  Additional tests can be ordered by your provider using the discounts we have available to us at Quest Diagnostics.  These additional charges will be passed onto your account.  See the discounted pricing list.  

We ask that a valid credit card is placed on file for all billing.  Alternatively, you can send in payment monthly via check or bank transfer.
