No, you can keep your primary care provider and we are happy keep them updated on your health needs and goals.  

Doc Bee Well offers a wide range of medical services for acute and chronic management of disease.  This includes hypertension, diabetes, kidney and heart disease.  All of our members benefit from preventive medical care, mental health management and life coaching.

Controlled substances are prescribed only when medically appropriate and permitted under applicable state and federal law. Schedule II medications may be prescribed to established patients located in Washington State in accordance with current regulations. Controlled substances are not prescribed to patients located outside of Washington.   Workman's Comp conditions (L&I) should be directed to an Occupational Health Provider.  Motor Vehicle Accidents should also be directed to a provider who has ability to work with car insurance.  If you have questions about your particular condition, please feel free to send Dr. Fasbinder an email bfasbinder@docbeewell.com

Our office is in Tacoma, Washington, but it is by appointment only.  Doc Bee Well was designed so that you can obtain treatment in your own home or personal space either virtually or in-person.  Patients must be physically located in one of the states where Dr. Fasbinder is licensed at the time of service.

Yes, we are happy to send medications to your selected pharmacy.  Doc Bee Well does not sell or dispense medications. Any prescriptions, if medically appropriate, are issued solely at the physician’s discretion in accordance with State and federal law. 

Doc Bee Well is happy to announce that it now accepts Original Medicare.  Sorry we have not contracted with any of the advantage plans at this time.  

We will send you by email our intake form and consents.  Please complete these forms as soon as possible as they are required before your appointment.  At the time of your appointment, you will receive a link to joint Dr Fasbinder's virtual exam room.  This safe and secure environment will connect you to Dr Fasbinder in the comfort of your home or private space.   

Doc Bee Well offers an alternative to a traditional medical practice.  Many of our patients have high deductible health plans that can be expensive to use for routine medical care.  Some of our patients do not have insurance through their work or are unable to obtain medical insurance from the government.  Our membership model allows us to focus on your health and not on insurance reimbursement.  Cost transparency gives our patients confidence that they will not be surprised by a huge office bill.  

Doctor Fasbinder is a very busy physician, his availability changes often, but it is up to date on the appointment's webpage.  When you click on a service it will ask you to choose a time to schedule. 

No, we do not accept insurance, but we recently became eligible to take Original Medicare.  You are strongly encouraged to maintain at least emergency (catastrophic) insurance in case you need to be admitted to the hospital or have major surgery.   

We are happy to travel within 30 minutes of our home office in Tacoma (1201 Pacific Ave).  This means we can travel to Federal Way, Fife, Lakewood, University Place, Fircrest, Puyallup, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Spanaway, Auburn, Dash Point, Des Moines, SeaTac, Tukwila, Renton and Kent.  If you are out of our service area feel free to contact Doc Bee Well to see if an exception can be made.  Home visits are only available by contacting us directly.  You can send us a message and we will let you know if we are able to accommodate you.  

Doc Bee Well has access to discount lab tests through Quest Diagnostics.  Members can benefit from routine labs such as annual Complete Metabolic Screening, Lipid Screening, Urine microalbumin screening (for those with diabetes).  Additional tests can be ordered by your provider using the discounts we have available to us at Quest Diagnostics.  These additional charges will be passed onto your account.  See the discounted pricing list.  

We will send you a payment link from our GoDaddy website to pay for your appointment.  You can use credit card, PayPal, or check via Certegy. 

We are currently limited to patients who live in Washington State, Idaho, Ohio, Utah, Missouri or Colorado.  You can contact us by email or phone to schedule or feel free to use our website to self-schedule.  

Doc Bee Well has partnered with ZocDoc to expand visibility to more patients in need.  We prefer patients book directly on our website to avoid the costs to our practice.
