DOC BEE WELL — TERMS OF USE

Welcome to Doc Bee Well. We’re glad you’re here. By using our website, services, or the Nurse Bee chatbot, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Our goal is to keep everything clear, transparent, and supportive; just like the care we provide.


1. Not for Emergencies

Doc Bee Well and the Nurse Bee chatbot do not provide emergency services. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately.


2. Appointment Scheduling and Management

Patients may schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments through Doc Bee Well's online scheduling and appointment management tools. Appointment availability is not guaranteed until a booking confirmation has been issued.

3.  Licensed Service Areas
Doc Bee Well currently provides telehealth services to patients who are physically located in Washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Ohio, or Missouri at the time of their appointment. In-person visits are available in Tacoma, Washington.


You are responsible for accurately reporting your location during telehealth visits. If you are located outside a state where Doc Bee Well is licensed to provide care, we may be unable to provide medical services.


4. About Nurse Bee (Our AI Assistant)

Nurse Bee is a friendly educational assistant that can:

  • Help answer general medical questions 
  • Help schedule appointments and navigate our services
  • Offer care guidance 
  • Explain Doc Bee Well services 
  • Help you prepare for appointments 

Nurse Bee does not:

  • Diagnose, treat, or prescribe 
  • Replace a licensed medical provider 
  • Establish a doctor–patient relationship 
  • Provide medical or legal advice 


All decisions about your health should be made with a Doc Bee Well clinician.


5. Telehealth Services

Telehealth is a convenient way to receive care using audio, video, or electronic communication. Your full telehealth rights and responsibilities: including benefits, risks, privacy considerations, and disclosures are explained in our complete Telehealth Informed Consent document.  You may request in-person care when appropriate. Doc Bee Well may also advise an in-person visit if clinically needed.  Appointment scheduling and availability are managed through Doc Bee Well's online booking platform.


6. Use of Electronic Communications

 You may receive appointment confirmations, reminders, intake requests, appointment management links, telehealth access links, and other healthcare-related communications by phone, SMS, email, or other secure electronic systems used by Doc Bee Well.  You are responsible for maintaining the privacy and security of your personal devices, email accounts, and phone services used to receive these communications. 


We will not record any visit unless both you and Doc Bee Well consent to recording, in compliance with RCW 9.73.030.


7. Payments and Plans

Doc Bee Well provides transparent self-pay healthcare services. Certain services may be offered on a membership basis, while others may be available as individual visit purchases.

Fees, membership benefits, and service pricing are described on our website and may be updated from time to time. Payment is generally collected during the online booking process or as otherwise communicated before services are provided.  Prices and services are subject to change without notice. 

Doc Bee Well does not bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. Patients may request documentation that can be submitted to their insurance carrier for possible out-of-network reimbursement.


8. Acceptable Use of the Website and Chatbot

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information 
  • Attempt to misuse or harm the chatbot or site 
  • Use the chatbot for illegal, abusive, or discriminatory behavior 
  • Attempt to access our server, code, or systems without authorization 


We may restrict access if misuse occurs.


9. No Warranty of Service Availability

We work hard to keep Nurse Bee and our website available and secure; however, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or network failures. These services are provided “as is” without any warranty.


10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.

12. Prescription Services

Doc Bee Well is not a pharmacy and does not dispense or sell prescription drugs. If a prescription is clinically indicated, it is sent to the patient’s pharmacy of choice in accordance with applicable laws.
